THANK YOU, EVERYONE!
For coming out to play, helping cEDH grow, and making this year an awesome success!
The Lucky Top Deck Series 13 tournament wrapped up the 2025 season, and what a way to finish. Between the insane plays, tight finals, and last-minute leaderboard point grabs, it was a wild ride from start to finish.
As organizers, we’ve loved watching this scene grow, not just in size, but in skill and spirit. So many of you have become absolute killers in cEDH, while still keeping things creative and fun. The brewing never stops, and neither does the spice. You’ve kept the format alive and unpredictable, and we love that.
Also, huge props to all the new players who joined this year. You’ve jumped in headfirst, and the community has been awesome at welcoming you in. That’s exactly the vibe we want to keep: competitive, but open, safe, and friendly for everyone. Let’s keep building that together.
This year we ran eight(!) tournaments. Six in Haarlem, one in Tiel, and one in Den Bosch, with 112 unique players total. We also launched the leaderboard, giving even more players a shot at qualifying for the European Championship.
Shout-out to other TOs running events this year too (like Wolvega 👀). Keep them coming, the more, the better.
Let’s give it up for our 2025 champions:
🏆 Mike (LTD Series 8)
🏆 Nathaniel (LTD Tiel 3)
🏆 Nico (LTD Series 9 & 11)
🏆 Max (LTD Series 10)
🏆 Melle (LTD Series 12)
🏆 Harm (LTD Den Bosch 1 & Series 13 — also heading to EU Champs!)
This was our first year using a leaderboard to qualify players for the European Championship — and it made things so much more intense.
We promised the top 8 (not already qualified) a spot for Munich. In the end, we were lucky enough to get 20 qualifier slots for the Netherlands, so we bumped that up to 9. No tiebreakers needed — everyone got in.
Check out the full leaderboard here.
When one player couldn’t make it, their slot passed to #10.
So with that clear, congratulations to:
1️⃣ Perry Rubinstein (46)
2️⃣ Roderick (43)
3️⃣ Roel (42)
4️⃣ Antonio (39)
5️⃣ Rutger (38)
6️⃣ Rick (33)
7️⃣ Michiel (32)
8️⃣ Matthijs (32)
9️⃣ Kim (32) — passed his slot
🔟 Marc (31)
Plenty more qualified through other events or pass-downs. To everyone going to Munich: go represent, have fun, and may your top decks always be lucky!
We’re starting fresh, reflecting on what can be improved and continuing to deliver awesome tournaments and a leaderboard to go with them.
Next year’s European Championship will be in the UK, so stay tuned. Make sure you’re subscribed to our newsletter to get first dibs on events and announcements.
And as always: we love hearing your thoughts. Hit us up with feedback or ideas anytime.
Big Thanks
Huge love to all of you who played, judged, helped, and supported along the way.
Special thanks to our judges: Roald, Timber, and David! Absolute legends!
Also thanks to all our venues and everyone who’s pitched in behind the scenes. You make this community what it is.
Cheers to all of you, Vincent, Perry & Simone
P.S. Stop countering our shit.
